OPEN POSITIONS
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technicain
Department: Quality
Reports To: Quality Engineer
Hours: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, M – F
Pay Scale: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour, DOE
SUMMARY
We are looking for a responsible Quality Assurance Technician to help support and establish dimensional, visual, and material property inspection of precision mechanical parts, assemblies, and materials. Inspection equipment includes vision and touch probe coordinate measurement machines (CMM’s), micrometers, microscopes, profilometers, comparators and a scanning electronic microscope (SEM) with EDS. SPC Data systems include Infinity QS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As follows. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop/Write and troubleshoot part programs for CMM’s to meet part and assembly inspection requirements
- Run and/or support inspectors running CMM programs
- Support inspectors as required to complete In-Process and Final inspection of parts and assemblies including dimensional checks and visual inspections
- Complete incoming inspection of components and raw materials
- Set up importing of data from gages into Infinity QS database
- Summarize inspection data for special projects
- Support generation and updates of inspection documents
- Summarize non-conforming parts and materials and write Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR)
- Participate in root cause investigation studies as assigned.
- Participate as a member of the Material Review Board (MRB)
- Perform SEM/EDS analyses on parts and material after receiving training on these systems
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures and legal regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Title: Product Engineer
Department: Product Engineering
Reports To: Product Engineering Manager
Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, M – F, (may be negotiable)
Pay Scale: $76K-$81K, depending on experience
SUMMARY
The Product Engineer will help IntriPlex expand the design and production of electric vehicle and energy storage system battery components and assemblies by working with other groups including Business Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Sales, R&D and Quality. The Product Engineer is responsible for technical communication, specifications, and performance for IntriPlex’s new and mature products. The Product Engineer also generates or supports process and cost modeling for part and project quotations.

Job Title: Tool & Die Maker
Department: Manufacturing
Reports To: Program Manager, Stamping Technology
Hours: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, M-F
Pay Scale: $40 – $50 per hour, depending on experience
SUMMARY
The Tool & Die Maker will perform maintenance, trials, and troubleshoot complex stamp and dies. The position is a key part of a close-working manufacturing and engineering group that supports our internal and external customers and the operations of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As follows. Other duties may be assigned.
- Requires general knowledge of construction and maintenance of progressive metal stamping dies and ability to actively engage in new product/part development.
- Sets up and operates all basic machine tools, mills, lathes, grinders, and machinist hand tools.
- Capability to grind die components to +/-.0001” tolerance on tool steel and carbide is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of shop inspection procedures, mechanical, optical, and computer-assisted measuring equipment.
- Understanding of SPC manufacturing environment.
- Analyzes and interprets specifications, including blueprints, engineering sketches, and verbal information.
- Requires general knowledge of various tool steels and their application.
- General knowledge of jigs and fixtures, automated machinery, and basic shop machine maintenance.
- This job requires the ability to work in multiple locations and/or to relocate to a different state.

- Work Environment: May require occasional exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, and mandatory hearing protection. For the most part, room temperatures are ambient lighting with traditional office equipment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Two years of technical school, and ten years of experience in tool and die making specifically progressive tooling. Previous involvement with new product development activities including tooling and process advancement working closely with tool designers preferred. Managerial experience is considered a plus.
